What most. has and has not tested

This page lists what most. can stand behind about its hair fibers, what it cannot yet, and what it will publish when it has it. It exists because the guides on this site keep saying "most. has no data on this", and one page that gathers those admissions is more useful than twenty scattered ones. It is written by the founder, who is not a scientist, and it is updated when something changes.

What most. can stand behind

• The ingredient list. Cotton cellulose, cellulose gum, sodium chloride and four mineral pigments (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 77891), transcribed from the label on the ingredients page. No keratin, no wool, no ammonium chloride, no fragrance, no parabens, no phenoxyethanol, because none of those is on the label.
• How the fibers attach and come off. They bond to existing hair by static and are removed by shampoo. This is the mechanism of the category, not a most. discovery, and every application guide on this site is reasoned from it.
• Vegan and not tested on animals. True by construction: nothing in the formula comes from an animal, and most. has commissioned no animal testing. No third-party certifier has been engaged, so most. does not use the word "certified".
• Prices, packs, the guarantee and the shade swap. $39.95, $59.85 and $71.80 one-time; $29.95, $47.88 and $55.80 on subscription; a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first order with a prepaid return label; free shade swaps with no return needed. These are policies, and the refund policy is the binding version.
• Use on the founder's own head. The application routine, the amount to use and the hairspray step were worked out on the founder's own hair before launch. That is one head, not a study.

What most. has not tested

• Wind, rain and sweat under measured conditions. The fibers hold through ordinary weather and a gym session once set with hairspray, in daily use. No wind tunnel, no timed soak and no sweat test has been run by an independent laboratory, and no page on this site should be read as saying one has.
• Transfer to pillowcases, collars and towels. most. has run no transfer test and no laundering test. The rub-off guide reasons from the mechanism and says what to expect; it does not report a measurement.
• Type 3 and type 4 hair. most. has no photographs and no test of the product on curly, coily or afro textured hair. The textured hair guide is reasoning, not a result.
• Use with minoxidil, after a hair transplant, or on a treated scalp. No clinical data. The safety guide defers those timings to your doctor or surgeon on purpose.
• How undetectable the result is to other people. most. has no survey and no panel. At conversational distance the fibers read as hair; someone with their hands in your hair will find powder. Anything more precise than that is not something most. has measured.
• Long-term customer outcomes. most. launched in 2026 and its review base is small. It does not publish an aggregate rating in structured data and will not until a review app holds at least 25 verified reviews.

What most. will publish when it has it

• Photographs of the product on type 3 and type 4 hair, with the shade used and the amount applied.
• A transfer test on a white pillowcase and a white collar, set and unset, with the method written out.
• The count of verified reviews, once a review app is installed, and the rating only when the count passes 25.
• Any third-party certification the brand engages, named, with the certifier's reference.
• Corrections. When a guide is found to be wrong, the page is fixed and the updated date on it changes.

How to read a most. guide

Each guide carries a byline, a published date and an updated date, and a link back to this page. Sentences that begin "most. has run no" or "we have no source we would stand behind" mean exactly that. A claim about a competitor's ingredients is taken from that competitor's own published list at the time of writing, and the date is given.
