The published ingredient list is cotton cellulose, cellulose gum, sodium chloride, and the pigments CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 and CI 77891. There is one formula, and it is the same in all four shades.

The four pigments are iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide black and titanium dioxide. Cellulose gum is the binder that keeps the powder together on the hair; sodium chloride helps it flow out of the bottle. Each entry is explained on the ingredients page.

Do most. hair fibers contain keratin?

most. hair fibers contain no keratin. Keratin hair fibers are made from processed sheep wool, and most. uses cotton cellulose instead, so nothing in the bottle comes from an animal. This is a material choice, not a verdict on keratin, which has been sold for years and is still the common material in the category.

Do most. hair fibers contain ammonium chloride?

most. hair fibers contain no ammonium chloride. Ammonium chloride is the binder commonly used in keratin hair fibers; most. uses cellulose gum as its binder and sodium chloride to help the powder flow. Ammonium chloride is a salt found widely in cosmetics, so its absence is a preference some people hold, not a safety claim.

Do most. hair fibers contain fragrance, parabens or phenoxyethanol?

most. hair fibers contain no fragrance, no parabens and no phenoxyethanol. The formula has no preservative of any kind. The published list names the cotton cellulose fiber, the cellulose gum binder, sodium chloride, and four mineral pigments.

Are most. hair fibers vegan and not tested on animals?

Yes. most. hair fibers are vegan and are not tested on animals. Every ingredient is plant or mineral: cotton cellulose, cellulose gum, sodium chloride and four mineral pigments. No third-party certifier has been engaged for either claim, so no logo appears on the bottle; the formula is published so anyone can check it.

Are hair fibers safe for the scalp?

Hair fibers sit on the hair shaft, not in the skin, wash out with shampoo, and are sold as a cosmetic, not a treatment. most. hair fibers contain no fragrance, no preservative and no ammonium chloride, the three ingredients people ask about first. Anyone with a scalp condition should ask a doctor before using any powder.

Do most. hair fibers regrow hair or treat hair loss?

No. most. hair fibers do not regrow hair, slow hair loss or treat any condition. most. is a cosmetic: the fibers add visual density to the hair you already have and wash out with shampoo, and nothing changes underneath. Anyone treating hair loss itself should speak to a doctor rather than to a fiber brand.

Can you use most. with minoxidil or finasteride?

most. hair fibers can be used alongside minoxidil or finasteride. Finasteride taken by mouth never meets the fibers. With topical minoxidil, apply the minoxidil first, let it dry completely, then apply most. to dry hair and a dry scalp. most. has no data of its own on the combination; your prescribing doctor is the right person to ask.

Can you use hair fibers after a hair transplant?

Hair fibers, including most., can be used after a hair transplant once the surgeon says the scalp is ready. most. sets no timing of its own and has no data on post-transplant use, so the date comes from the surgeon, not from this page. When cleared, apply most. as normal: dry hair, dry scalp, short taps, hairspray to set.

How do you apply most. hair fibers?

most. hair fibers go on dry hair and a dry scalp in about 30 seconds. Hold the bottle close to the head over the thinning area and tap in short bursts, then pat the fibers in with your fingertips. Use less than you think, apply before any styling product, and finish with two light passes of your preferred hairspray.

Do you need a spray?

most. hair fibers do not need a dedicated fiber spray. They bond to hair by static on their own; the spray's job is to lock them in place so they hold through wind, sweat and a gym session. Two light passes of whatever hairspray you already own do that job. Your preferred hairspray is enough.

How long does one bottle last?

One 25 g (0.88 oz) bottle of most. hair fibers lasts about 30 days of daily use on a typical crown or hairline area. A larger area, or a heavier hand, shortens that; a part line or a small patch stretches it. The usual mistake in the first week is using too much.

How do you wash most. hair fibers out?

most. hair fibers wash out with regular shampoo. They bond to hair by static rather than by glue, so a normal wash lifts them off and rinses them away, with no special remover or second product. Water alone loosens them, which is also why they do not survive a shower or a swim.

What is the most. precision applicator?

Do hair fibers work on completely bald areas?

No. Hair fibers, most. included, do not work on completely bald skin. The fibers bond to existing hair by static and need strands to anchor to; on bare scalp they sit as loose powder and come off at the first touch. Thin hair and fine hair give the fibers something to hold. No hair does not.

Do most. hair fibers hold through sweat, rain and the gym?

Yes. most. hair fibers, once set with two light passes of your preferred hairspray, hold through wind, sweat, light rain and a gym session until you next shampoo. Unset, they hold less well. most. has run no independent wind, rain or sweat test; the hold claim comes from use, not from a lab.

After a workout, pat the head with a towel rather than rubbing it. A towel rubbed across the head takes the fibers with it.

Can you swim or shower with hair fibers in?

No. most. hair fibers do not survive swimming or a shower. They are water resistant, which covers light rain and sweat once set with hairspray, but not waterproof, and a full soaking loosens them the same way shampoo does. Apply after you swim or shower, on dry hair, rather than before.

Do hair fibers rub off on a pillowcase or collar?

most. hair fibers, set with hairspray and left to dry, transfer very little to a pillowcase or a collar. Unset, or applied heavily, some transfer is possible, and a dark shade shows more on white fabric. most. has run no transfer or laundering test, so this is use, not a measured result.

Do hair fibers work under a hat or helmet?

most. hair fibers work under a hat or a helmet as long as they are set with hairspray and dry before the hat goes on. A hat that slides on and off can lift a little fiber at the edges, and a sweaty helmet liner over an unset application will take some off. Set, dry, then cover.

Which most. shade matches dark brown hair?

most. Dark Brown is the shade for dark brown hair. Match it to the root in the thinning area, in daylight, not to the ends, which are usually lighter. If the roots look nearly black in daylight, choose most. Black instead; if they look mid brown, stay with Dark Brown, because between two shades the darker one blends better.

What if you are between two shades?

Between two most. shades, go darker. A shade slightly darker than the root reads as shadow and depth, which is what a thinning area lacks; a shade slightly lighter reads as powder. The one exception is hair that lifts noticeably lighter in the sun, where the lighter shade wins. If the first choice is wrong, the shade swap is free.

Does most. make a grey shade?

No. most. does not make a grey, white, red or auburn shade. The four shades are Black, Dark Brown, Light Brown and Blonde. Hair that is mostly grey with a darker base can usually take the base shade one step lighter; hair that is fully grey or white cannot, and the answer is a brand that makes that shade.

Will people be able to tell?

At conversational distance, most. hair fibers read as hair, provided the shade matches the root and the amount is light. Someone with their hands in your hair will find powder, and a shade too light shows as dust in bright sun. most. has run no survey on detectability, so that is a description of use, not a measured result.

Do most. hair fibers work on curly, coily or 4c hair?

most. hair fibers bond to any hair by static, whatever the curl pattern, but most. has no photographs and has run no test on type 3 or type 4 hair, so this page will not claim a result it has not seen. The 30-day guarantee and the free shade swap cover the cost of finding out.

Do most. hair fibers work on grey hair?

most. hair fibers work on hair that is going grey, provided the base color is still one of the four shades. For hair that is mostly grey, choose one step lighter than the base shade, so the fibers sit between the dark and the white strands. For fully grey or white hair, most. has no matching shade.

How does the free shade swap work?

Keep the first bottle; there is nothing to send back. A wrong first guess is common with any powder judged from a photograph, which is why the swap exists.

How much does most. cost per bottle, one-time and on subscription?

most. hair fibers cost $39.95 for one bottle one-time, $59.85 for three ($19.95 each) and $71.80 for four ($17.95 each).
